Our Annual Masterclass programme is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of artists, administrators and project managers delivering participatory activities in the arts, museums and libraries.
Demystifying evaluation: Measuring the social impact of participatory activities
Friday 12th January 2018, 12.30pm – 4.00pm, Liverpool
This half-day seminar will outline the theory and practicalities of measuring the social impact of participatory activities on individuals and communities.
Managing Arts Projects with a Social Impact
Friday 9th February 2018, 10.30am – 4pm, Liverpool
This full day course provides a nuts and bolts approach to managing arts projects with a societal impact from planning to evaluation.
Creative Ageing: Delivering excellence in participatory activities for older people
This half day seminar will explore different approaches to designing and delivering first class participatory arts and cultural activities for older people.
Arts & Dementia
This popular one day course will introduce delegates to the role the arts and creativity can play in improving and maintaining quality of life for people living with dementia and their carers.
Delivering Arts Activities in Non-Arts Settings
This half day seminar is designed to support emerging and more established artists develop their practice and confidence for delivering activities in non-arts settings. The session will draw upon Collective Encounters’ experience of working in homeless hostels, hospitals, day centres and care settings.
