Third Age Acting Company

Third Age Theatre is very valuable – older people are always being told to look after themselves and look after their health - you end up sitting in looking at four walls, so it’s great to join something like this, even if you’ve never done it before. Once you gain confidence, it becomes addictive.

Third Age Acting Company Member

Now in its 6th year Collective Encounters’ Third Age Acting Company meets for two hours on Tuesday afternoons (for around 30 weeks of the year) at Liverpool Hope University.

Members of the company have had exciting and new experiences developing their acting skills, devising performances and undertaking local and national tours of their work. For three years running the company also performed at the annual National Pensioners’ Convention in Blackpool.  We’re hoping they’ll soon be involved in an international collaboration with companies in Holland and Ireland.

Spaces are still available so if you have some free time on your hands and want to try something new, why not pop along for a taster session. There are no auditions and all activities are completely free. Contact takepart@collective-encounters.org.uk or  call 0151 291 3887 for more information.
