Qualifications and training

We have accredited training courses available through our work with Transitions:

Open Awards: Level One – Improvisation & Performance

This first step course helps learners get to know the accreditation process whilst developing first step drama skills such as developing characters and storytelling.

Open Awards: Level Two – Improvisation & Performance

This course develops understanding of some of the ideas introduced in the Level One course and leads to the creation of a short performance piece.

Open Awards: Level Two – Introduction to Mentoring

This course focuses on how best to provide one-to-one mentoring support.

Open Awards: Level Three – Effective Facilitation

This course trains people in how to deliver, plan and design creative workshops and focuses on: managing conflict, facilitating consensus, evaluation and how to adapt a plan to suit the group.

PEARL (Personal employability achievement and reflection for learning)

The PEARL is a practical award designed to develop learners ability to build relationships and work with others.
