In partnership with Collective Encounters, Virtual Migrants bring their touring show, Continent Chop Chop to Liverpool. ‘Continent Chop Chop’ is a touring transmedia production linking narratives of climate change to the broader issues of poverty, race and social justice. Using interwoven narratives portrayed through music, poetry, and projected imagery, it will ask:

As part of the national tour  Manchester based arts collective Virtual Migrants  is looking for adults to take part in a day of workshops. We’re looking for people, poets, rappers, beatboxers, actors, who’ve got something to say about the world we’re living in, whether it’s about the crisis in Syria, benefits cuts or the world getting warmer.

Workshops will take place: Wednesday 4th November, 2 – 4.30pm and 6 – 8.30pm at MPAC, Bridport Street, near Lime Street Station.  Material generated in the workshops will be performed as part of the larger professional touring piece 3 to 5pm on Sunday 15th November at the Lantern Theatre. We will provide refreshments and can pay travel expenses for anyone who wants to take part.
