DESCRIPTION:Join Co-Artistic Director Marianne Matusz and Associate Lead Artist Joanne Tremarco for an online GIF making workshop during our fundraising week. \nA GIF is a short video\, animated using two or more images – it’s like a digital version of an old style flipbook. Learn how to create attention grabbing graphics for use online to help raise awareness of your cause\, support activism\, and campaign on important issues. \nThis fun practical session will give you new creative skills that you can use with basic technology. You will need your mobile phone or tablet\, some photos you would like to turn into a GIF and some pens/paper. \nThe session is offered for free as part of our ‘Arts for Impact’ fundraising week. If you are able to\, we ask you to make a donation to our campaign\, which will be DOUBLED by The Big Give. Our suggested donation is £20\, but please give as little or as much as you can. DESCRIPTION:What would fairer health look like where you live? \nCollective Encounters are hosting a free community event. \n\nHow fair is access to health services where you live?\nWhat works well – and what needs to change?\nWhose voices are heard when decisions are made?\n\nFree introductory event: Tuesday 19 May\, 10am – 1pm\, Centre 63 \nThis relaxed introductory session is a chance to share your thoughts and experiences\, meet others\, and find out more about a series of workshops exploring health inequality taking place in June and July. \nFollowing the introductory event\, we will host six creative sessions at Centre 63: \n\nFriday 5 June\, 10am – 12pm\nFriday 12 June\, 10am – 12pm\nFriday 19 June\, 10am – 12pm\nFriday 26 June\, 10am – 12pm\nFriday 3 July\, 10am – 12pm\nFriday 10 July\, 10am – 12pm\n\nUsing creative activities\, discussion and storytelling\, we’ll explore real experiences of health and care and imagine what fairer support could look like. Together\, participants will co-create ideas that will form part of a touring performance in the autumn\, sharing local voices more widely. \nThe sessions are open to all over 18 years old. No previous creative experience is needed.  \nEveryone’s contribution is valued – there are no silly questions. \nYou can come to as many sessions as you’re able. DESCRIPTION:What would fairer health look like where you live? \nCollective Encounters are hosting a free community event. \n\nHow fair is access to health services where you live?\nWhat works well – and what needs to change?\nWhose voices are heard when decisions are made?\n\nFree introductory event: Wednesday 20 May\, 12 – 2:30pm\, Netherton Library \nThis relaxed introductory session is a chance to share your thoughts and experiences\, meet others\, and find out more about a series of workshops exploring health inequality taking place in June and July. \nFollowing the introductory event\, we will host six creative sessions at Netherton Library: \n\nWednesday 3 June\, 12 midday – 2:30pm\nWednesday 10 June\, 12 midday – 2:30pm\nWednesday 17 June\, 12 midday – 2:30pm\nWednesday 25th June\, 12 midday – 2:30pm\nWednesday 1st July\, 12 midday – 2:30pm\nWednesday 8th July\, 12 midday – 2:30pm\n\nUsing creative activities\, discussion and storytelling\, we’ll explore real experiences of health and care and imagine what fairer support could look like. Together\, participants will co-create ideas that will form part of a touring performance in the autumn\, sharing local voices more widely. \nThe sessions are open to all over 18 years old. No previous creative experience is needed.  \nEveryone’s contribution is valued – there are no silly questions. \nYou can come to as many sessions as you’re able.
