Thanks to Toby Lowe from Helix Arts for starting a blog about quality in participatory arts.  He was invited by Arts Council England to start a train of conversation around quality in work with children and young people, but very rightly says this must be a wider brief – that a discussion needs to be had across the board.  Collective Encounters is delighted to see the discussion commence, and hopes that it will provoke fruitful and passionate discussion.  For too long we’ve shied away from discussing the quality of process, or being honest about what shoddy practice looks like, or how much of it there is about.  Do read the blog and have your say here
