Part of The World Transformed 2022

Collective Encounters invites you to join the Cost of Living Cabaret: a place to make our voices heard about the life we deserve; to sing songs, rant rhymes, satirise, provoke, and find hope.

If you’d like to write songs and poems, perform in sketches, or just have a rant about current events, you can become part of the cabaret troupe by meeting at 12pm at the School Atrium on Greenland Street. You’ll need to commit to rehearsals throughout the afternoon, up to and including the performance at 5:30pm.

What to bring with you: musical instruments (if you have them); a notepad and pen; any objects that represent the ‘cost of living’ for you; a healthy amount of anger and an appetite for action.

Participation requires a ticket for The World Transformed festival, which will also grant you access to the whole range of events, talks and workshops across 4 days.
