About
Where You’re At is a creative project for people in Liverpool with experience of migration. The project has previously engaged with young people attending ESOL courses, young refugees and asylum seekers, young adults who have migrated to Liverpool, and with diaspora community groups in Liverpool. Activities use drama and creativity to support connection building, place making, and the exploration of themes around home, journeying, and belonging.Â
The project provides an outlet for individuals to use creative methods/skills to process their feelings and experiences. It also creates opportunities for participants to be seen and heard within their wider communities.Â
Participants in the project have produced performances, songs, poems, and more. The work they have produced provides a broad insight into the experiences of people who have migrated to the City.Â
