Hannah Lambert, Curious Minds

Curious Minds commissioned Collective Encounters to provide Trauma-Informed Practice training for our Rhyme & Reason project, recognizing the need for specialists to lead this important work. The care and attention demonstrated by the entire team throughout the process were exceptional. From our initial scoping conversation with Marianne to the session delivery by Aidan and Jess, it was evident that every aspect was tailored to meet our needs. Aidan and Jess expertly facilitated a supportive environment where colleagues felt comfortable engaging in meaningful discussions about trauma-informed practice, a testament to their expertise. The Collective Encounters team brought invaluable wisdom and experience, significantly enriching our project. Collaborating with them has been a privilege, and we look forward to the next time we work with them.

Diolch yn fawr! Collective Encounters’ training was delivered to colleagues from around Wales who all have different levels of experience. It was a great balance between listening and discussion, the approach was flexible so it was easily adapted to our context and we feel confident we will be able to apply this learning in our work.

Dr Victoria Foster, Edge Hill University

Collective Encounters has facilitated two Open Space meetings for us which have been a great success. They have been welcoming and collaborative events which have brought together staff, students and community members for meaningful and creative discussion. This way of working is very much in line with CSR’s values. As well as benefiting from the content of the meetings, our members have found it valuable to learn about Open Space methodology and its potential.
