Let’s Talk About Fairer Health: Free Community Event Knowsley
May 19 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
| FreeWhat would fairer health look like where you live?
Collective Encounters are hosting a free community event.
- How fair is access to health services where you live?
- What works well – and what needs to change?
- Whose voices are heard when decisions are made?
Free introductory event: Tuesday 19 May, 10am – 1pm, Centre 63
This relaxed introductory session is a chance to share your thoughts and experiences, meet others, and find out more about a series of workshops exploring health inequality taking place in June and July.
Following the introductory event, we will host six creative sessions at Centre 63:
- Friday 5 June, 10am – 12pm
- Friday 12 June, 10am – 12pm
- Friday 19 June, 10am – 12pm
- Friday 26 June, 10am – 12pm
- Friday 3 July, 10am – 12pm
- Friday 10 July, 10am – 12pm
Using creative activities, discussion and storytelling, we’ll explore real experiences of health and care and imagine what fairer support could look like. Together, participants will co-create ideas that will form part of a touring performance in the autumn, sharing local voices more widely.
The sessions are open to all over 18 years old. No previous creative experience is needed.
Everyone’s contribution is valued – there are no silly questions.
You can come to as many sessions as you’re able. The first event on 19th May is a no-pressure introduction, so feel free to come along and try it out.
Help with travel costs is available and refreshments will be provided.
