What would fairer health look like where you live?

Collective Encounters are hosting a free community event.

  • How fair is access to health services where you live?
  • What works well – and what needs to change?
  • Whose voices are heard when decisions are made?

Free introductory event: Wednesday 20 May, 12 – 2:30pm, Netherton Library

This relaxed introductory session is a chance to share your thoughts and experiences, meet others, and find out more about a series of workshops exploring health inequality taking place in June and July.

Following the introductory event, we will host six creative sessions at Netherton Library:

  • Wednesday 3 June, 12 midday – 2:30pm
  • Wednesday 10 June, 12 midday – 2:30pm
  • Wednesday 17 June, 12 midday – 2:30pm
  • Wednesday 25th June, 12 midday – 2:30pm
  • Wednesday 1st July, 12 midday – 2:30pm
  • Wednesday 8th July, 12 midday – 2:30pm

Using creative activities, discussion and storytelling, we’ll explore real experiences of health and care and imagine what fairer support could look like. Together, participants will co-create ideas that will form part of a touring performance in the autumn, sharing local voices more widely.

The sessions are open to all over 18 years old. No previous creative experience is needed.

Everyone’s contribution is valued – there are no silly questions.

You can come to as many sessions as you’re able. The first event on 20th May is a no-pressure introduction, so feel free to come along and try it out.

Help with travel costs is available and refreshments will be provided.

If you have any questions or would like to find out more, please contact Abi: abi@collective-encounters.org.uk 07849 094903

Please note there are also sessions taking place in Knowsley and Liverpool.
