A unique event for artists & activists to showcase how they use the arts as a tool for social change
The Arts for Social Change Showcase is a unique annual event of quick-fire presentations by people passionate about using the arts for social change. Presenters have no longer than 5 minutes to talk about their theme, project, issue, community and/or infatuation. The showcase is a great way for artists, activists and community organisers to grow ideas, share and celebrate achievements, rage about something or highlight something that needs to change.
Presenters can be theatre-makers, producers, participants, funders, community groups, charities…anyone with a curiosity or passion for arts & social change!
“I have gained confidence in talking about the power of our work and an insight into other inspiring approaches from around the UK. I will take away the feeling of being part of a community of artists for social change!”
– Feedback from Showcase Presenter
“There was a sense of having received the benefit of others’ talents, experiences, efforts, and insights; and I feel a deep gratitude for this”
