OPEN PLAYGROUND: Keeping Well – Participatory Artists’ Wellbeing

| donationA two hour workshop for participatory and community artists to explore strategies to support their wellbeing.
Area of practice: In this session we will explore practical and reflective ideas for supporting our own wellbeing and discuss what the long-term support needs for the sector are.
We will introduce some techniques for wellbeing but will also provide the space for practitioners to share their own experiences and ideas.
Event Format: Open Playgrounds are events specifically designed to support participatory theatre makers develop their practice. Open Playgrounds are facilitated by a member of the Collective Encounters’ team.
These sessions will go beyond workshop activities to explore how participatory theatre makers are delivering the fundamentals of applied and participatory theatre forms. They are also an opportunity to connect and share with peers.
Open Playgrounds are not training events but facilitated forums in which ideas can be tested and shared.
