Target Audience
This seminar is aimed at anyone who is at the early stages of starting their own performing arts company.
Approach
This seminar is informal with plenty of opportunity for questions, discussion and learning from fellow-participants’ experiences. The seminar will begin with a presentation on the five key areas of learning outlined above. This will be followed by a discussion with other group members, and an opportunity for a one-to-one surgery with the trainer to discuss your own ideas and challenges in starting your own performing arts company.
Trainer
Annette Burghes is Collective Encounters’ Executive Director. Annette studied Arts Management at London Metropolitan University and Law at the College of Law. Annette has worked in the arts and voluntary sector for twenty years, and recently co-authored The Social Impact of the Arts in Liverpool on behalf of Liverpool City Council.
