

The Storytelling Cloak

| FreeInspired by the tradition of the storytelling cloak, this beautiful artwork is a stimulus for imagination, hopes and wishes, created by care-experienced young people from across the Liverpool City Region.
This patchwork of images has been created using a range of printmaking techniques and fabrics, brought together in a full-size wearable cloak. The images relate to poems, stories, and songs created by young people in Collective Encounters’ Summer Arts Adventure, and will inspire storytelling in our Social Change Cabaret and Digital Archive.

Saturday 18 October, 7pm-9pm, The Casa: Social Change Cabaret
See the cloak in action as it is worn by the storyteller in the Social Change Cabaret. Audience members can also view the cloak up close before and after the show.
Wednesday 22 October, 10am-12pm, The Bluecoat: Digital Archive Launch
