We have an exciting announcement!

Our youth theatre have been working really hard on a new show called Class Act and we are delighted to announce that it will be performed on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th of August in The Black-E Liverpool.

What is Class Act?

An immersive theatrical experience, with the audience sat at desks in a class room. The show will follow 5 characters from each of the 5 boroughs, Liverpool, Sefton, The Wirral, Knowsley and St Helens at ages 16, 18, 20 and 22.

Part-mocumentary, part-satire Class Act explores how bruising cuts to the UK’s education system are hitting the poorest communities hardest. This is an opportunity to both hear about the experiences and challenges young people going through the education system face today, and also imagine the ways it could be made better in the future. Class Act will be interspersed with lessons focusing on the state of national education at the moment.

There will be three performances across two days, however performances are limited to 25 people per session. If you are interested in attending please email admin@collective-encounters.org.uk.
