Working for Collective Encounters

Collective Encounters is an accredited Living Wage Employer and a member of the Independent Theatre Council. We contributed to the development of the March for the Arts Working Guidance for Arts Freelancers and Organisations, which guides our freelance engagements.

We issue union-approved contracts where relevant and strive for ethical employment practices and fair pay for all our staff and freelancers.

Collective Encounters offers flexible working for all staff. Employees benefit from 25 days paid annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays, and auto-enrolment into a workplace pension scheme. Relevant equipment (e.g. company laptop and phone) and software is provided where necessary, and staff have access to regular training and professional development within their roles.

Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policy and action plan is reviewed annually and sets targets for improving diversity and ensuring a safe and inclusive working culture.
