Kickstart Placement: Marketing and Admin Assistant

25 hours (3.5 days) per week            £9.90 per hour 

This is an assistant role working directly with our General Manager on a variety of administrative tasks including;

Marketing

  • Supporting the General Manager with regular posts across social media platforms
  • Working with the artistic team to gather material for newsletters
  • Working with the General Manager to deliver marketing plans for events promotion and recruitment
  • Ensuring that press contacts are up to date
  • Extending our social media networks
  • Recording monthly digital and social media statistics 

Administration

  • Working across the team to support the maintaining of registers and databases and making sure contacts are up to date
  • Undertaking research tasks
  • Supporting the creation of physical and digital content
  • Maintaining contact with participants where appropriate including emailing reminders about session times and posting resources if necessary
  • Supporting the team with Zoom or MS Teams when delivering online events both internal and public.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Basic computer literacy, including MS word and excel
  • An understanding of a variety of social media platforms in particular Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Experience with video communication, in particular Zoom
  • Experience using cloud based sharing platforms like Dropbox and Google Drive
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage own time, particularly when working remotely
  • Strong communication skills

The role will be based remotely: working from home, with occasional work at onsite events and workshops
