JOIN US AND SOUNDWALK FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
We are delighted to be partnering with the University of Liverpool’s English Department on a new project that will explore Liverpool’s complex heritage in relation to issues such as identity, migration, enslavement and environment.
The community, along with Collective Encounters’ artist-practitioners and University of Liverpool academics, will co-produce a “Soundwalk” (a kind of map-led audio tour) based in the workshops. The soundwalk will be promoted to the general public, seeking to transform understandings of Liverpool’s heritage and how different communities experience it, provoking debate and intercultural awareness.
